Meetings & Education

In addition to an advisory role for individual laboratories, UK NEQAS for Blood Coagulation publishes and presents data through a variety of leading journals and meetings. A list of publications can be accessed on our Publications Page

A Scientific Meeting (Clinical and Laboratory Haemostasis) is organised on an annual basis, with presentations from nationally and internationally renowned speakers, in addition to data from survey distributions and open debate on Scheme issues. Around 350 delegates have previously attended each year.

Questionnaires are distributed to participants on a regular basis to gain feedback on issued of general interest in heamostatis and thrombosis in addition to specific aspects relating to UK NEQAS for Blood Coagulation. Reports prepared from these questionnaires are circulated to participating centres.
